Parakram AI ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices when using our live interview assistant.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), and usage metadata
- Resume and job data: files and text you upload to personalize answers
- Session data: transcripts, AI-generated answers, session duration, and preferences
- Audio: processed in real time for transcription; we do not permanently store raw audio unless required for debugging with your consent
- Payment data: processed by Razorpay; we store order IDs and plan status, not full card details
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, and request logs for security and reliability
3. How we use data
- Provide transcription, question detection, and answer generation
- Manage credits, subscriptions, and billing
- Improve reliability, security, and product quality
- Communicate about your account or support requests
4. AI processing
Transcripts and context may be sent to third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenAI) to generate responses. We configure providers to process data only as needed to deliver the Service. Do not upload sensitive personal data you do not want processed by AI systems.
5. Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Session transcripts and answers may be kept to provide session history and debrief features. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the Service (hosting, AI, payments) under contractual safeguards, or when required by law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; use a strong unique password for your account.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact us to exercise these rights. Indian users may have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
